Podem participar do campeonato somente ginastas juvenis que n\u00e3o sejam eleg\u00edveis para os pr\u00f3ximos Jogos Ol\u00edmpicos. A campe\u00e3 dessa edi\u00e7\u00e3o foi a russa Evgenia Shelgunova, deixando a italiana Alessia Leolini e a canadense Shallon Olsen em segundo e terceiro lugar, respectivamente. Shelgunova teve as maiores notas de trave (14.150) e solo (14.050).  Uma outra russa, Yulia Chemareva, teve a maior nota na paralela (14.200), al\u00e9m de ter sido quarta colocada no individual geral. Olsen conseguiu a maior nota no salto (15.050), que tamb\u00e9m foi a nota mais alta da competi\u00e7\u00e3o. Assistindo os v\u00eddeos do campeonato, Olsen foi justamente a ginasta que mais me impressionou. O yurchenko com dupla pirueta que ela executou no salto foi um dos melhores que eu j\u00e1 vi. Se bem treinada, Olsen facilmente executar\u00e1 o amanar. A pequena ginasta termina o segundo giro com uma excelente altura do solo, e mostra porque \u00e9 a sensa\u00e7\u00e3o da gin\u00e1stica do Canad\u00e1, e uma esperan\u00e7a para a gin\u00e1stica do pa\u00eds.
